The Lighthouse Community Pantry is open the
1st, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 1:00 - 6:00 PM. We serve
residents of the Avoca School District and zip codes 14826 (Cohocton) and 14808
(North Cohocton/Atlanta). Please bring a proof of residence (i.e. utility bill)
the first time you visit the pantry. Pantry in action... Two hundred turkeys, what do you do with them? Give them away with potatoes, bread (stuffing), vegetables, fruit, etc. for a complete Thanksgiving family dinner for two hundred families. God is good, no wonder so many folks in the area were truly thankful for Thanksgiving Day! MORE activity by ALL the volunteers supporting the Food Pantry! A total of 490 boxes filled with food to be given away as we help the entire community understand the TRUE meaning of Christmas. May Christ bless those who received those food boxes as much as we were blessed by assembling them and knowing they would be used to help our friends and neighbors throughout the community.
